Room with a View:

Thatched beach pavilions and bungalows line the white sand beach at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, while water bungalows are built on stilts over the lagoon.  The Royal Beach Villa offers lavish, one-of-a-kind accommodation for guests.  From their thatched roofs and timber latticework to the beautiful white stone walls, all the architectural details are constructed by local craftsmen using indigenous materials and techniques that date back centuries, to reflect a true sense of the Maldives.

Tropical Cocktails:

The Poolside Bar, built into the main swimming pool, is a popular place to celebrate an invigorating dive or simply relax in the warmth of the midday sun.  Tropical drinks and a light snack menu are available throughout the day.  For many guests, the evening begins at the Sunset Lounge, enjoying the glorious sunset while sipping creative cocktails.  This open-air pavilion adjoins the reception area and overlooks the jetty and spa.  Piped-in music complements the relaxed mood, while a tantalising selection of tropical cocktails is offered till the early hours.

Dining in Paradise:

An elegant dinner at Baraabaru is a memorable affair.  Guests may choose to dine in the restaurant’s brightly coloured interiors, on the spectacular deck above the waters or in a private dining gazebo.  The open kitchen features an open tandoori bar, where guests can watch as the chefs prepare fine Indian cuisine.  The food is complemented by a wine list chosen to suit the tropics, with an emphasis on light wines and Champagnes.  Reef Club is the perfect spot to savour classic Italian fare featuring fresh seafood, pizza and grilled meats.  Guests can dine alfresco on the ocean-side deck or in the thatched roof pavilion; a free-standing bar is ideal for sundowners.

An open-sided Maldivian-style thatched-roof pavilion facing the free-form swimming pool and lagoon, Café Huraa offers indoor and outdoor dining in an exotic tropical setting.  The sumptuous breakfast buffet has something for everyone – fresh tropical fruits and juices, cereals, homemade breads, grilled meats and vegetables and a made-to-order omelette station.  Dinner at Café Huraa is a fun experience.  Every evening, guests can enjoy Asian fare featuring a taste of traditional curries, wok-prepared noodles and fresh vegetables, as well as a selection of mouth-watering seafood.  An exclusive wine cellar offers fine wines from around the world.

The Island Spa at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa:

Most island resorts have their own spa. The Island Spa at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa has its own island.  In this serene hideaway within a hideaway, you can feel as one with the ocean.  Let the gentle rhythms of the earth soothe your senses, allowing cares and tensions to dissolve and wash away.

Sail in a wooden dhoni (traditional Maldivian boat) across the lagoon to the island.  There, luxuriate in one of seven thatched Spa Pavilions that are positioned over the water, open to the ocean breezes and panoramic vistas of endless blue sky and sea. Each treatment pavilion features a viewing port in the deck so that guests enjoying a massage can contemplate the aquatic playground below.

Just as the Maldives is a world blend of cultures, from Indian to Arabic, the design of the Island Spa captures an authentic sense of place.  Asian-inspired, innovative treatments rejuvenate in facilities complete with oversized deep soaking tubs and a private garden courtyard with an open-air shower.  Indigenous treatments pay tribute to the restorative power of marine nutrients and celebrate the therapeutic effects of aromatic oils and spices.

Four Seasons Resort at Landaa Giraavaru:

Contemporary elegance and Maldives tradition meet in harmony at this stunning new resort.  Discover a paradise hideaway where luxurious seclusion meets wild natural beauty.  Are there days when you dream of an oasis of peace and quiet?  This verdant, beach-fringed 18-hectare private coral island offers sophisticated pleasures on land and water – where the words ‘stress’ and ‘deadline’ have no meaning.  Your only responsibility is to enjoy great imaginative cuisine and fine wines with a choice of four signature restaurants and bars, visit the genuine Ayurvedic Retreat for spa therapies and yoga sessions and experience the great land and water activities, like sailing or diving.  This resort defines the standard for the ultimate vacation!

Tropical Cocktails:

Enjoy panoramic views of the Indian Ocean from the Poolside Bar.  Wine, cocktails and refreshing tropical drinks are served throughout the day, as well as salads and light fare.  The resort’s casual bar, Five Degrees North, is named for the island’s location, which lies five degrees north of the equator.  Its nautically inspired décor features a dhoni (traditional boat) as the counter, with a library, pool table and selection of board games for entertainment.  The bar also has an extensive drinks selection.  In the casual sand-floor setting of Blu Bar, enjoy exotic juices, tropical cocktails or a refreshing young coconut.  As the sun sets, an apéritif or glass of sparkling Prosecco is the perfect prelude to an Italian dinner next door at Blu.

Romantic Dining:

Located at the western end of the island overlooking a 2-kilometre lagoon, Blu embraces the essence of the Maldives as the place where the ocean meets the sky.  From the restaurant pavilion on one side or the Blu Bar pavilion on the other, you can watch the sun sink below the horizon.  The restaurant serves light antipasti, pizza and pasta during the day and fine Italian cuisine in the evening.  Named after Abu Al Barakat Yusuf Al Barbari, a North African scholar who made Baa Atoll his home in the 12th century, Al Barakat serves authentic Arabian cuisine.  The restaurant is built over-water, off the main jetty.  A Shisha Bar is located on the ground level.  The main dining area on the rooftop features comfortable low seating.

Overlooking the swimming pool and beach, the three thatch-roofed pavilions of Café Landaa are separated by reflecting ponds.  For breakfast and dinner, skilled chefs create exquisite delights with Eastern and Western influences.  Located adjacent to the seawater pool and overlooking the eastern coast of the island, Fuego Grill is open for lunch and dinner.  The restaurant offers fresh catch of the day as well as a wide selection of organic and prime cut meats, salads, sandwiches and Asian dishes from an open kitchen pavilion.  Teak tables and chairs are set in the sand facing the sea.

In-Villa Dining at Four Seasons is a fine-dining experience within the comfort and convenience of your bungalow or villa.  Choose from an extensive menu throughout the day, featuring Western and Asian favourites.

The Landaa Spa and Ayurvedic Retreat:

The Landaa Spa and Ayurvedic Retreat is a retreat within a retreat, set both in fragrant inner gardens and a sea breeze-kissed over-water spa.  Thatched Spa Pavilions and Ayurvedic Suites offer time-honoured therapies conducted by Indian experts.  Private yoga sessions are available with the resident yogi in picturesque tranquillity.  Secluded open-air treatment areas make the lush tropical setting an integral part of the relaxation and treatment process.
